Growing up I had the opportunity to “work” with my dad while he was building houses. The process is quite different, but I really get excited by the progress that happens from week to week. This project brings back so many great memories. I hope to be on the ground helping with the next one! I am so grateful for a dad who believed girls could do physical labor and was willing to take the time to help me learn. Looking back, I am sure I was not a lot of help, but I learned so much about work ethic and pushing limits. He helped me see that glass ceilings can be broken.

I am thrilled with how fast this project is moving! They have been working long hours every day to get this far. We will be buying the windows and doors this week.
