Sometimes taking a bus into a village is an adventure in itself. the narrow roads are often suited for walking, but not so great for traveling in large, heavy vehicles. In this village we made a turn but the vehicle became off center and we were stuck. We offloaded the bus and luckily were able to walk the rest of the way to make our visit on time. While we were gone, villagers gathered bricks to help the driver get the bus back on the road so we could travel back to our basecamp. I am always grateful for the community members who reach out to us and offer their help.
