Going to Malawi has been one of my greatest blessings. I have made new friends and have learned so much from my experiences. These women have spent the last few months preparing their fields for the upcoming season. The rains will begin now and continue through March. This back breaking work doesn’t seem to slow these beautiful ladies at all. I’ve never heard them complain or talk about life being unfair. In fact, they are always humble and express their gratitude continually. Every message I receive ends with “may God continue to bless you”. I am truly so grateful for both of these women and for what they continue to teach me. I have no words to adequately describe my gratitude for being able to know them, love them and learn from them. Praying for a bountiful harvest in a few months and continued success for these beautiful friends!

That work does look backbreaking. I can’t imagine. We have it so easy here. And yet, as you say, they are grateful and don’t complain.
